Intravenous Catheter and Intravenous Fluids

Intravenous Catheter is what is connect to the Intravenous fluid line. It also helps in administrating the the anesthetic drugs and other emergency drugs in an event of complications.

Intravenous fluids helps in maintaining your pet's blood pressure and supporting your pet's vital organs like the heart and kidneys while under anesthesia.

Dental Ultrasonic Scale and Dental Polish

Using and ultrasonic instrument, we will remove the tartar on the teeth by scraping the tartar with a vibrating probe.

Dental polish allows minimal damage to the tooth enamel. Then the teeth are polished with a special tooth polish.

What you should look for:

Bad Breath: a sign of dental problems as well as more serious diseases.

Plaque/Tartar: dark coloring or stains that make it easier for germs to build up on the teeth and gums. These Bacteria can travel through the blood to the other body parts and cause serious health problems like heart and kidney disease.

"Gingivitis": red, inflamed and bleeding gums that when left untreated can lead to deeper infection. Just as in people, peroidontitis in pets is a serious health risk.

"Resorptive lesions": as many as 50% of pets suffer from this problem. It erodes the tooth and will most likely result in a great deal of pain to your pet.
